Most voltage regulators are internal of your alternator. (honda reman) when the engine is off, the battery has 12.8 volts. Should be around 14 volts.

Not understanding all of the idiosyncrasies of the et system, i just thought some may find this interesting Starting with the 2005 model year, light duty full size pickups and utilities are equipped with a regulated voltage control (rvc) system. When you're running lots of accessories that draw power, at low rpm, voltage will go up.
